Quzhou - Ningde Railway Expected to Open at the End of September 2020

The Quzhou - Ningde Railway starts from Quzhou in Zhejiang Province, going to the southeast and passing through Suichang, Songyang, Longquan, and Qingyuan, and finally enters Fujian Province to Zhouning and Ningde cities. The railway is 379 km long (235 mi) with the highest design speed of 160 km/h (99 mph). There are a total of 30 train stations along the way, 27 of which are newly built. Once the railway is opened, it will fill the blank of the railway network in northeastern Fujian and southwest Zhejiang areas. Cities like Suichang, Songquan, Longquan, Songxi, Zhenghe, Pingnan will also welcome their first railway. In the future, the green-color EMU high speed trains and normal speed trains will serve the railway.

Train Tickets of China's National Day Holiday (Oct. 1-8) for Sale since Sep. 2

The train tickets for China's National Day Holiday, which lasts from October 1 to 8, have been for sale since September 2. Passengers can book tickets at the earliest 30 days in advance, and on September 9, the tickets for October 8 will be available.
China will welcome the longest holiday in 2020 as the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival falls on Oct. 1, which is right the first day of China's National Day Holiday, and thus the original 7-day long holiday will be expanded to 8 days. That means a robust travel boom will be fueled by the long holiday and train tickets to some hot destinations will be in very hot demands, and some even has been sold out when releasing. Tourists who want to travel during this period are recommended to book tickets as early as possible, especially to some popular cities like Shanghai, Beijing, and Qingdao.
